'Movement[s] - The unity of the dancer, movement and space'
Movement[s] is an ongoing project, where Brigitha collaborates with contemporary international choreographers and dancers.
During the Dutch Dance Festival in October 2006, the latest work out of the series will be presented for the first time with a multimedia installation, realized in collaboration with composer Maarten van Boven and theatre-designers Åsa Kierkegaard and Joffrey van der Vliet. The show will be opened with performances by Dylan Newcomb (choreographer, dancer and composer; winner of the Philip Morris Art Price 2000 and Lucas Hoving Production Price 2003), Cecilia Moisio (dancer for, amongst others, Dance Company Krisztina de Châtel and Ann van den Broek), Sabrina Vis (dancer for, amongst others, Dance Company Krisztina de Châtel and Dutch Don’t Dance Division) and tango dancers René Oey & Gabriëlle Nederend (TANGOTALKS), in collaboration with choreography advisor Jack Gallagher.
